Our focus for 2024 is to launch a bookmobile that will serve as a lending library for students at Watsonville Charter School for the Arts and help the foundation serve local kids at community events on weekends, holidays and during summer break.
The Live Like Coco has funded dozens of scholarships for kids in our community, giving kids a chance to try many of the activities that Coco loved so much. We are proud to have supported:
We are proud of the projects we have completed in Coco’s name, including a redwood grove at Nisene Marks State Park, a memorial garden at Homeless Garden Project, a bench at LEO’s Haven — and now we’ve pledged to support the Emeril Lagasse Culinary Garden and Teaching Kitchen at Starlight Elementary.
We also are honored to partner with other grieving communities to launch special projects in honor of other children gone too soon.
