Every April, we host a fun run and walk at Pinto Lake County Park in Watsonville to celebrate Coco’s birthday. Not only do participants get to run or walk through one of the prettiest spots in our county, they also get to enjoy a family-friendly day of fun, food and entertainment, all while supporting the Live Like Coco Foundation. Kids can participate in a free 1K — and receive a free book from our foundation!
Due to COVID-19, this event has been temporarily suspended. We are looking forward a return to Pinto Lake County Park once health conditions improve!
We are very pleased to be long-time partners with the Homeless Garden Project, a special place where Coco and her family volunteered — and a place where her grieving friends and family worked hard to hand build a beautiful, thriving lavender garden in her memory. We are proud to be continuing to sponsor the Homeless Garden Project, helping fund their Feed Two Birds program, which supplies fresh food to needy familes — and build a permanent memorial garden for Coco at their new Pogonip Farm location.
